Consumers

Consumer = Canvas entry point

Each consumer maps to a Consumer node on the integration canvas. They define who connects (identity), how they authenticate (credentials), and at what rate (limits). Consumer nodes are always the leftmost nodes on the canvas, flowing into the middleware and protocol pipeline.
